August 6, 2008 - Thanks to those who have come out to see us of late. We have some new tricls ("the turtle", reading Danielle Steel novels on stage), some new friends, and some new songs ("Adventure Castle" and "Mommy Won't Buy Me Any Crayons").

For those that missed out, we are now played daily just prior to the dolphin show at Six Flags Great Adventure. No kidding. Go and check it out. Thank you to John McCall for getting us played despite the obvious risk that the dolphins will try to leap out of the tank to end their livesl each time we are played!

March 4, 2008 - A big welcome to our newest member: Erin Rae "Rocket Dog" Duffy, who will be joining us on the trumpet. In other news, this webpage is messed up, and I need Gian to fix it...

February 4, 2008 - It was ten years ago today (February 4, 1998) that five idiots gathered in Pete Milder's basement and learned what was to become Drive-Thru Pharmacy's first song - "Happy Bug", written by Pete and Eddie. Eighty members (two originals left to this day), two albums & 1 EP, 149 shows, and endless bottles of Wawa ice tea later, we're still here, although no one on this earth has the slightest idea why. We've been lucky enough to play with hundreds of bands, ruin lives in three states, and make endless amounts of friends.

Thank you to anyone who has ever seen and listened to us, to anyone who has ever seen us, to that unmentionable band in Moorestown who once tried to run us over with their cars, to anyone who ever put time in with the band, and to everyone who did NOT try to hit us with their cars. Oh, and to the Gooch.

Love,
Drive-Thru Pharmacy

September 2, 2007: Lots of DTP news the last few months! To start, we've been working up some new songs, the first of which, "The Wolf" has been played at the last few shows. Brett likes it, which is good enough for us.

Secondly, the band parted with long time singer Bill McCall last month. Bill has shared vocal duties off and on for the band since the beginning of the band, including the last six years straight. He was well known and well loved for his high level of energy on stage, as well for extremely inappropriate jokes and lines such as "This song is called 'I Need Another Beer'". Unfortunately, Bill is a very busy individual, and simply can't be around as much as he once could. He will be missed. As Bill isn't replacable, vocal duties have been picked up by other members of the band.

And on the subject of departed members, our bassist Brian McGovern is going to London for a semester. His spot will be filled in by our good friend Adam Thibault, who really, really likes sharks at the moment.

However, the band has some great shows coming up, including PIRATES DAY in Barnegat!

May 25, 2007: Thank you all who have come out to shows lately, especially Ray's final show! Lots of friends there, lots of good times, and on-stage special appearances by such former members as Adam Thibault, "Hawaiian" Eddie Tsang, Danny G, and Kate Wolfrom.

We'd like to welcome three new members into the fold, our biggest increase in the last six quarters, whatever that means. Mr. John Coffey has, of course, so very ably taken over on drums (Laurel Springs Day '07 being his first show) and is doing a bang-up job. We'd also like to welcome two new horn players - Dave (trumpet) and Kerri (trombone). Both are nice people and we look foreward to rocking out with them for a long, long time. Dave had his first show under his belt today, and Kerri will follow along shortly.

In other news, Drive-Thru Pharmacy ruined their third state today, driving four hours south, 'cross the Mason-Dixon Line to lovely Solomon, Maryland. This is the first time we've ventured so far from home, and the first state that wasn't NJ or PA that we've ever played! Three states down, 47 to go!

March 24, 2007: Well, much news. First, we are sad to announce that long time member Raymond "Gay Ray" Anthony Solowij is leaving the band and moving to California, where he hopes to shine shoes on a street corner while whisling happy tune. Ray has been playing drums for the band for more than five years, as well as causing general havoc and mayham at every show that he attends. There is no one in the world like Ray (we hope), and he will be sorely missed when he departs in May. Come out and see him while you still can, let him know that you love him and, no, you won't give him a cookie.

However, Mr. John Coffey, best known for his co-star status in that Christopher Walken movie, as well as for his drumming for Out of Service, will be gracefully and loudly stepping in on the drums. For those that don't know him, John is a great guy and a great drummer (in that order, which just shows great a guy he is), so make him feel loved.

We have been writing some new songs in preparation for our next album (which will NOT take six years to complete this time), so keep your ears out for some new ones.

Also, last month we hit the nine year mark of being a band. Holy cow, I feel old.

December 25, 2006: Happy Holidays everyone! We lost our server and had our page deleted, so we're piecing it back together as we have time. If something is goofy, feel free to let us know.

December 4, 2006: First, thank you to everyone who rocked out with us last night at the Light of Day Benefit! Yes, we played with Streetlight Manifesto (just six hours or so before them)! Yes, we were on the same stage as Bruce Springsteen (about twenty hours too late)! Yes, we made idiots out of ourselves as usual! It was a great time!

Second, OUR NEW ALBUM IS HERE!!! Yes, after many, many years, we have a new album! It is titled "Adventures in the Jersey Woods" and features eight new songs (well, new to being recorded anyhow)! This cd can be yours for the low price of $8! Mailorder is $10! Buy early and in person and recieve a FREE POSTER!

We also have, for the first time, pins! New t-shirts and stickers are coming soon!

To mailorder, please send a piece of paper with your name and mailing address on it, plus a check, money order, or well concealed cash to:
Drive-Thru Pharmacy
Attn: Michael McCormick
60 Oak Ridge Dr
Voorhees, NJ 08043

Please make all checks and money orders out to "Michael McCormick". The band will just laugh at me if I try to cash a check for Drive-Thru Pharmacy!

Many thanks to all the people that made this possible - Adam Thibault at Rude Squirrel Records (only the finest in squirrels and recording), Bill Ferguson for our cover artwork, Jeremy Niedt for the layout of our cd and the poster/pins/stickers, and, of course, all of you who have stuck with us this long!
